It’s a constant struggle and delicate balance of control and outbursts of emotion, exploration & discovery. Designs & colors with Adobe Illustrator, paint with watercolor, draw with pencil & ink onto hot pressed paper, gessoed canvas and panel using line, texture and color to convey feeling and concept. Adding everything experienced from video game culture, math, science, Chicago, children’s books and comic books to create scenes, ideas & designs that walk the lines between fine art, illustration and design and bring out the imagination & perception of the subject.Jodi Hoover.
