With any image or frozen piece of time, what matters most is if the looker can have a question brew in their mind to what they are seeing. Its then that you know you have their attention whether positive or negative. My art at times can be relevant to contemporary trends, but may also be at odds at the same time, taking risks. My use of subject matter is to evoke thought into the roles we are chosen to do or forced into and how they are played in life. The colors I use I believe can be just as seductive as the subject matter to enhancing the experience one sees.
Many years of experience as a fine artist, working with mediums such as drawing, oil painting, and photography. Have shown in multiple galleries in Chicago with other like-minded talented artists. My recent works are more of an experimental area I have been studying and practicing about, and want to continue to do so.
