I am a painter with an interest in telling the human experience. The figures in my paintings are active storytellers. Like old fables, the storytellers in my paintings are demonstrating lessons and urging caution. With an emphasis on expression, gesture, and intimate spacing, I hope to give the viewer a moment of quiet reflection.

Painting and Drawing has always been something alluring and mysterious. It was never a question that I needed to be a painter. I graduated Bowling Green State University, in which I studied two-dimensional art. During my undergraduate carrier I was awarded the Palmer Travel Scholarship, in which I was able to study art history in Italy for a summer semester. I am very proud to say that I am currently attending the Ravenswood Atelier of Classical Painting and Drawing, and working in my studio in downtown Chicago.
